Received social security disability from my daughter's father. It is for her care, do I claim it as income?

Received social security disability from my daughter's father. It is for her care, do I claim it as income?
If the social security is the child's income and the Form SSA 1099 is sent in the child's name and social security number, it is not reported on the parent's return. If it is the child's only income, the child is not required to file a tax return.
