Unemployment refund

If I did not aloow taxes to be taken out of my unemployment monies up front, but filed in January.....am I entitled to a refund?

Withholding only impacts the size of your refund or payment due. If you file in January the unemployment was likely included in your taxable income. You may be entitled to a refund. If you used TurboTax, you can go and prepare an amended return to show what you are entitled to. If the only change is due to the unemployment and not other credits, you will not need to file the amended return and the IRS will be sending you a refund.
