save Turbo Tax window does not show the close/end button

When I go to close the Turbo Tax window on my Mac, the pop-up window asks for a password and a security question .  Then I am not able to scroll down any further to click on the close/end button.  SO I have to force quit and then I lose all my data.  

I hope I have described the problem sufficiently so someone can help me.

Are you using TurboTax online or a desktop product?

Thanks for your reply.  I am using the desk top product.  Apparently all I had to do was restart my computer and the problem was solved.
