LLC andCar Purchase Form 1065

My husband and I own a LLC. In 2019 I used the cash proceeds from the LLC to purchase a vehicle.  The vehicle is used about 25%  for business and about 75% personal.  Can I report the purchase on my personal taxes rather than the LLC Business tax form 1065?

Does it matter what name the vehicle is registered?

Yes, you can report the car on your personal return as Unreimbursed Partnership Expenses in the K-1 section of TurboTax and have the car registered in your name.

Since the car is less than 50% business use  you would take mileage expense.  For 2019 the mileage rate is 58 cents per mile.

You do need to have a mileage log that shows the date, business purposes and number of miles driven.
