Can my information be updated and then imported a second time

I just imported a second time, and it doubled the information.  Luckily, I was able to exit out of turbo tax without saving to revert back to my original document.  I had made no other changes, so I was able to do that without any problems.

Based upon the above response, I first deleted the previous imported data, saved my tax file and then imported again which used the latest information from the financial institution.
