How do I attach a required "bad debt statement" to my return after entering it on my form 8949 as a bed debt loss?

Wow.  When there's a statement such as the Nonbusiness Bad Debt generated by Turbotax and that form is not eligible for electronic filing, how hard would it be to generate an "Error" with instructions?  I just filed my taxes electronically and noticed my pdf copy of the return didn't include the above listed statement.  Tell me, now what do I do?

You can mail form 8453 along with a copy of your statement to the IRS.  You can prepare and print that form in TurboTax or get a pdf copy from the IRS here.
