How do I account for income from a franchise that did not supply a 1099 and did not pay out until Jan 2021?

Received in 2021 on 2021 tax return.

But how do I claim not income for 2020 and I had business expenses. The Franchise takes 45% and I get 55%, My reimbursements did not accrue until Nov of 2020, but paid in Jan 2021.
