Tax Year Prior to 2020: Do I earn Income Tax Credit

Hello

I am 70 years old “single” retiree, my income comes from $15K Social Security Paycheck Plus $5K in pension, I do NOT have any Dependents. will I qualify for “Earned Income Tax Credit” (EITC or EIC) ?

Tax Year Prior to 2020: Do I earn Income Tax Credit

Unfortunately, you do not qualify because you are over 65 years old.  Please see the following FAQ for the criteria to claim the Earned Income Credit (EIC or EITC).
