select Sales Category E.

For Date Acquired, enter the date if you know it, otherwise, enter "various".

Yes, the capital gain will be treated as long term if you have held the shares for more than one year.

If 1099b is blank, how does TurboTax know whether to treat it as long or short capital gains?
