Problem with Importing W-2 in TurboTax Basic for Windows
I'm experiencing an issue with TurboTax Basic for Windows and could use some guidance. I'm trying to import my W-2 information, but I keep encountering an error that prevents a successful import.
Error Message: "The system encountered an error while attempting to import your W-2. Please try again later."
Here's what I've tried so far:
Checked W-2 Accuracy: I confirmed that the information on my W-2 is accurate and matches what I'm entering in TurboTax.
Updated TurboTax: I ensured that my TurboTax Basic for Windows is up-to-date with the latest updates installed.
Multiple Attempts: I tried the import process several times, but the error persists.
Restarted Computer: I restarted my computer to eliminate any temporary glitches.
Despite these steps, the issue remains unresolved. Has anyone else faced a similar problem with W-2 imports in TurboTax Basic for Windows? Are there any specific troubleshooting steps I can take to fix this issue?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Problem with Importing W-2 in TurboTax Basic for Windows
I'm not sure which version of Windows you are running, but I know Windows 11 recently had an update. You may try checking the Windows Updates.
Here are the system requirements for TurboTax Desktop:

Alternatively, you could key in the information based on what is on the form, if you have a copy of it.
Hope this helps!
