Has TurboTax updated 2018 to allow for an amended return to now claim a PMI deduction?

Why don't you check and see ... update your program and look.  I doubt it, my professional program still has not ... they expect it to take another month.

Not yet. Hopeful they provide an update or I'll have to do it manually.

You have 3 years to amend a return and right now the IRS is busy with 2019 returns so processing of a 2018 amended return may take 16 + weeks ... so be patient.

No as far as I can tell.  It does not add it to the total to deduct for that 1098 in my Turbo Tax 2018 so I can amend.  I am waiting too.

My professional program just got that working for the 2019 program so maybe TT will have 2018 working sometime soon.  All you can do is just update the program a couple times a week and see.
