Payment taxes due

I submitted my federal return through turbo tax, I owed 4,500. and provided my bank account info for payment.  The payment was deducted from my account.  Does this mean my federal return was accepted and completed

Payment taxes due

It is accepted for processing ... they can take several weeks to process the return and close the account. The IRS can take up to 3 years to question anything they want by sending you an audit letter.

Payment taxes due

If your payment was deducted from your bank account, then yes, your return was accepted.  The IRS processed your return & you are done with your taxes.  You should have gotten an email stating whether your return was rejected or accepted (if you e-filed).  You can check your e-file status if you want
