Paid Family Leave Severance

Hi! 

I was laid off one month before my due date. The company I was working for honored my paid family leave compensation via my severance package that was included as part of my W2 wages. Do I need to select paid family leave?

Yes. Once you reach the screen 'Let's check for uncommon situations' select 'Paid Family Leave'.

If it is not separately stated on the W-2, you would simply enter your W-2 as usual completing each box as it appears.

If an amount is in Box 14, and you do not see a category for 'Paid Family Leave' for your state, simply select 'Other (not classified)'.
