Our taxes was rejected because our foster kids was claimed as dependants on someone else taxes

Our foster kids was claimed as dependent on someone else taxes is that legal

If your dependents social security information was used by another, then you will need to print and mail your return. You won't be able to efile. Filing instructions and where to mail will be printed as well.
