Yes why am I paying full price when for something that is clearly not working?
What a joke! I ran the update, this morning, which coincidentally screwed me out of more money, then I resubmitted. Now I get another email saying that my e-file was rejected for the exact same reason. How can we trust anything that TurboTax says, when we do as we're told and still get the exact same results?
well, it's not resolved. I updated, filed again this morning, and it's rejected again
Not resolved and I still have money missing from my account to pay for a service that does not work. Thanks TurboTax!
@LindseyLO or @Katina S or anyone else at Intuit --> Any update here? The state of Oregon is broken across the board it seems.
I tried again to e-file a few minutes ago. I revisited all the sections for Oregon and opened and closed some of the options. Then I had it recheck everything again. Then I e-filed (again). This time I got a confirmation email from TurboTax, which I didn't get when I e-filed first thing this morning. Now I'm just waiting to see if Oregon accepts or rejects it. It would be nice if we'd get an official notice from TurboTax that it is good to go.
I did the same and got the confirmation email then shortly got the Oregon rejection email
Today - I updated my Turbo Tax Deluxe today 2/17/2022 and did see an Oregon Update applied. After going through the steps to review the Oregon return, nothing was flagged that needed to be adjusted and the amount of my refund did not change, all checks on the return passed. I re-submitted the efile and it was rejected again for the same reason listed in this post. Is there a way to check if the correct software update was applied? Also does anyone know if the OR_FederalTaxLiability_SoftwareUpdate_R18_TY21 update has had a successful result in efiling once applied?
Well, my Oregon e-file was rejected again after about 40 minutes. At least the rejection notice is fairly quick now instead of the three days the first one took. If the issue isn't resolved by the weekend, I'll do the e-file myself outside of TurboTax. I've already manually filled out the forms I'll need, so it's just the hassle of retyping everything into the e-file site. Bummed I spent the money to save myself a little time.
Based on you guy's comments, I decided to wait till tomorrow to re file.
Im giving the benefit of the doubt to TurboTax for a day.
I got that message and filed a few minutes ago and the return was rejected, so it is still not fixed. I will wait for them to fix it before trying again.
The fact that everyone is here is having to do much legwork after paying for a convenience service seems pretty silly. Not to mention that the service we paid for has still not been provided. Can Turbotax at least provide an update of when this will be fixed and confirmation that we'll be informed when that fix occurs? That would at least save everyone some time rather than jumping through these same hoops over and over again while hoping for a different result.
I tried again today and the only change is that, now, the rejection reason does not say to try again today. It provides no estimated date. Only says to check back for updates.
Left hoping they'll bother to even let us know when it's fixed, and have to wonder how something like this never got tested in their software until now.
I got this same message. Applied the update this morning, the 17th. It did change my Oregon refund amount, so I know something was updated. Followed the steps outlined - did the return again, did a review, refiled and it was rejected with that same message again. Called Intuit and they said wait until the end of the day and try again, and if no luck call in the morning and they will connect me with a tax expert. Not sure what a tax expert can do, this looks like a software issue.
See my post to the original below. I followed all the steps listed - applied the update (when I check now it says software is up to date). Went through my Oregon taxes again, did a review, refiled, and they were rejected again with the exact same error message I got prior to the software update - Your return is on hold pending a product update to Federal Tax Liability...then says What Needs To Be Done - Come back on or after the 17th and apply updates, and then redo, review, and refile.
