On form IT-540-2D my dependents are listed but the last name column is only as wide as 6 characters, last name is 8 so it is cut off. Does this matter?

This is a Amended Louisiana Return and TTD desktop requires me to print it to amend it. In the PDF/Printed copy on form IT-540-2D. I assume my previous electronic filing sent the entire name, but TT offers no electronic amendment option hence why I am printing.

The official state form supports more than 6 characters.
