O-1 since August 2015, can I file as a resident alien?

I was on a J-1 visa for two years until August 2015, when I got my O-1 visa. I didn't meet the substantial presence test for 2015 so I filed as a non-resident alien for the year. In 2016, I was on the O-1 visa for the full year, so I am meeting the substantial presence test. My understanding is that I should file as a resident alien (and use TurboTax), but I am a bit confused by the dual status?

Because you were in the US since January 1st, you are not a Dual Status Alien.  You are a Resident Alien and can use TurboTax without doing anything special in regards to your Residency status.
