I entered 200+ sale entries (from one investment firm), the majority of which were (D) Long Term entries and none printed on form 8949, with the exception of the few entries I made for "A" and "E" sales. However they appear as totals on Schedule D. I looked in my TurboTax "Forms" and the worksheets show all the entries I entered. MY QUESTION: Do I still have to somehow "mail" or "submit" the Broker's 1099-B Statement to the IRS even though all the data is in the TurboTax worksheets? I have not seen any "message" or "statement" from TurboTax when I printed my tax return, unless it is hidden somewhere. I would appreciate suggestions/comments regarding this.
(p.s. I have another investment company (much fewer transactions), and they printed on form 8949 in itemized entries (not totals only)
