There was a post last year about an error in Turbo Tax whereby it doesn't include non-qualified pension plan distributions (reported on line 11 of W-2) in the NYS pension and annuity exclusion (line 29 of Form IT-201). The solution was to manually override, which then means that the e-file option is not available and a paper form must be filed. Is there any update on this since last year? I am working on my taxes and the same issue still seems to exist.

Thank you. May I assume that your box 11 entry is less than or equal to your box 1 and box 16 entries on your W-2? Also, in the questions after the W-2 was entered, you confirmed that this was a distribution and not a contribution (just double checking).
