Please explain some more.    Why does the bank need any statement to release funds, and what kind of statement and indicating what?

i have no idea really.  but the amount of refund does not match what was deposited so i need proof that turbo took out there fees and deposited the remainder to my account and if i dont supply them with proof i will still have a hold on my own money.

The company that takes out the fees is called SBTPG, who uses either Green Dot Bank or Civista Bank.  Then they send the rest to your bank.

Are you able to print out anything when you view your information in your temporary account at the SBTPG website?    It may show what they received from the IRS and what they sent to your bank.

To log in, choose the taxpayer portal at:
https://www.sbtpg.com/

If that didn't help, then try this.  Log into your online TurboTax account.  Go to the section "Your Tax Returns & Documents" and choose tax year 2018.  Look for a link "View order details."     Does that show all your TurboTax fees?

There is also a 39.99 service fee for that payment option (44.99 for California filers) and possible sales tax.  I'm not sure if that service fee will be in the order details or not.
