My TurboTax says I qualify for $7125.00 credit for my EV. However, it wont add to my refund total at the top of the page. Please advise!

My TurboTax says I qualify for $7125.00 credit for my EV. However, it wont add to my refund total at the top of the page. Please advise!

You should file for an extension right now.

Today (April 15th, 2024) is tax deadline day.

Filing a tax extension with TurboTax is free.

You can get an extension:

You must have a TurboTax account, or create one.

Click on the website Free federal tax extension is now available
Select [File Now]
Log into your account
Your screen will show Get started on your federal extension
Follow the interview
