My son is 24/full time student. This is the first year he is filing his own taxes and it is asking him if he has health insurance. He does have coverage that we (his parents) provide for him through the market place. Why is it asking him for 1095A insurance information when he is filing taxes if he does not pay for his health insurance?

What percentage of the following policy amounts do you want to claim on your tax return? See "How do I figure out these percentages?" when you get to that screen.
