My ex-husband & I each claim 1 child. He added both SS and my return is rejected. He amended his and it's off now. His is reapproved. Mine still rejects. What next?

We each claim one child every year. He used free tax USA and it asked him to add additional dependent in the case of a 50-50 he would not get the full tax credit for that child. In doing so, He's got approved and mine is now rejected trying to claim the full child tax credit. He amended his return and it stated that it was reapproved. So I went and filed mine again with the child that I normally claim and it continues to get rejected for this issue. Do I have to print this and send in? What can I do next?

The social security number has been put into the system and amending his return did not change that.  You will not be able to e-file this year with that social security number.  Print and mail your return.

You'll have to print and file your tax return by mail.

When filing by mail, remember to attach any tax forms with federal withholdings, such as W-2s, 1099-NEC, 1099-R.
