My EX husband has no income, we are divorced but lived together for the year. Can I claim him as a dependent?

You can claim him as a dependent if he lived with you all year and you provided more than half of his support for the year since he has no income. 

He must pass the following test to qualify as your dependent.

  1. Cannot be the qualifying child of anyone else.                             
  2. Lived with you all year.
  3. Gross income for the year must be less than $4,050.                           
  4. You must have provided more than half of his total support during the calendar year.
