MY CLIENT PROVIDES INHOME CARE AND GETS PAID. THIS INCOME IS NOT TAXABLE. HOW DO I ADJUST THIS INCOME IN TURBOTAX?

People who provide in-home care and get paid receive W-2 but this income is adjusted on line 21 of 1040 so that they are not taxed on their income. I know how it is done on H & R Block software but I do not a way to adjust that income in Turbotax.

If your client received a W-2 that shows Medicare Waiver payments in box 1, ask the payer to issue a corrected W-2. If you cannot get a corrected form, please follow the instructions in the FAQ below.

Qualified Medicaid Waiver payments on a W-2 show as earned income for EIC https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/4360071
