My boyfriend does not work and he lives with me. Can I claim him on my taxes?
You might be able to, if:
(1) Nobody else can claim him as a dependent (e.g. parents).
(2) His gross income was less than $4,050 in 2016.
(3) He lived with you for all of 2016.
(4) You provided more than half his support for 2016.
