My boss gave me 1500.00 for a good job. I don't have a business but everything wants me to fill out a schedule C. How do I handle it since I don't have a business?

The income you describe is associated with your salary job, as such it would likely be considered wages or self-employment income by the IRS. Your only other option would be to treat it as "other income", but if you answered the questions honestly in TurboTax when you entered the income, the program is treating it properly as business income as opposed to "Other" income.

If you wanted to treat it as wage income, there is a section in TurboTax where you can do that. It is in the Less Common Income section. Choose the Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C option and then Other Income not already reported on a Form W-2 or Form 1099 on the next screen.
