My 20 year old son is a full withtime student using my GI Bill and living in an apartment. Can I sill claim him as my dependent if his income is over $5000? Also how do I answer the question of mont

Yes, if your son meets all the requirements to be your qualifying child (see below) then you can claim him as a dependent even if he makes over $5000.  Your son is considered to have lived with you during periods of time when he was away in college.

Yes, if your son meets all the requirements to be your qualifying child (see below) then you can claim him as a dependent even if he makes over $5000.  Your son is considered to have lived with you during periods of time when he was away in college.
