Many links are missing in various forms.
Some values in forms have double-click links to open the source form. Every value in a form should have a link to its source.
Some specific examples of links that are missing in the 2023 TurboTax Deluxe version:

- 1040, Line 25b has no link. Should be to forms 1099. 12/24/21
- 1040/1040SR Wks, Line 12 links to Schedule A, Names. Should be a source of the standard deduction number. The help link is incorrectly named "About Total Deductions", and links to help for "Form 1040, Line 9 - Itemized of Standard Deduction". 12/24/21
- 1040/1040SR Wks, Tax Smart Worksheet, line A. The source is Qualified Dividends and Capital Gain Tax Worksheet, but have to find that in the form list. Then, the name in the forms list is abbreviated to "Qual Div/Cap Gn". 1/4/20 Have to go find the form manually. 2/1/19
- 1099-R Summary, Line 1, 2, 5 have no links. Should link to the appropriate 1099-R form. 12/23/21
- Form 8949, Part I & Part II, Lines 1, all fields do not link back to the source of the data. 3/25/20 There are many possible sources, so this would be particularly helpful to have links. 12/27/21
- Schedule A, Line 5a links to Tax & Int Worksheet, Line 1a(1), should be line 1h. 12/23/21
- Schedule B, Line 1 Payer & Amount do not link back to sources. Some are from Sched B Smart Worksheet. Others are from 1099-B Worksheet, Accrued Market Discount. Neither of these sources are listed in the Data Source help for items in Line 1. 3/6/20, 3/18/22, 3/7/23
- Schedule B, Line I-1, "ABP Adjustment" does not link back to the source. The Data Source link is inactive. It takes outside research to try to figure where this value came from. Aargh! 3/6/20
- Schedule B, Dividend Income Smart Worksheet, Box 10 All value entry fields in this table are missing links. Only the Payer Name field is linked. 1/4/20
- Schedule D, Line 1a boxes have no links. They should link to forms 1099-B. 12/24/21
