I tried to import my Merrill Lynch 1099B into Turbotax desktop. I used the "Merrill" option from the dropdown and it correctly took me to my Merrill account where I then logged it. It appeared to go through the process of acquiring the data and said it was complete and I could return to TurboTax. There were not buttons or arrows to take to TurboTax. I could only close the browser. No data was actually imported to Turbotax Desktop. Where am I going wrong?

Follow the instructions on the screen carefully. You should see checkboxes that have to be marked for the import.
I did. It got to the point where it connected to Merrill. It appeared to get the data. It returned a screen below but there was no way to return to TurboTax.
I did that. I selected my acct. the issue is when i get the screen saying to return to TT. Only way is to close the browser. Then when i go to TT no data was imported
What browser did you use? I used Edge with a test TurboTax return and a real Merrill account and did not experience any issues.
