I am filing Married, filing jointly.  My taxable income is $119,285.  TurboTax calculates a tax due of $21,402.  Several other programs, as well as my own calculation calculate $21,198.75.  Why the difference of $103.25?

If you are using TurboTax CD/Download and want to try to determine the difference, you should begin by reviewing Form 1040/Form 1040A/Form 1040EZ using Forms Mode Windows and comparing each line to the other programs. If the other programs do not provide the same level of detail, you may try to compare some of the totals/subtotals on Form 1040/Form 1040A/Form 1040EZ, such as the following:

• Form 1040 Line 43 Taxable income
• Form 1040 Line 63 Total tax
• Form 1040 Line 74 Total payments
