lost my sons pin

If the IRS has assigned your dependent an Identity Protection PIN (IP PIN) and you lost it or you did not receive the CP01A Notice with the new IP PIN, you will need to retrieve it or have it reissued to e-file your return.

 

You may or may not be able to retrieve the information online.  See this IRS website.
