Why is TurboTax asking for an employer state ID and ZIP when we have no W-2?

Looked.    There IS neither a  W-2 or a Form with a red"!" in front of it.  Next suggestion?

Go to Forms and then run the Error check.

You might have a W-2 started by mistake.

Go to Forms upper right

then in left side look for a W-2 or a Form with a red "!" in front of it and open it.

In the lower border you will then see a Delete button and click on it and delete that unneeded form.
