I can't upload K1 documents. I noticed a lot of people were having trouble with this, but it seems to have been resolved for most. I still cannot access K1's to report income from distributions. CSR said I need to upgrade plans, so I did. Still doesn't work. I upgraded to the live expert help plan - they couldn't help. What is going on! This is infuriating! Can anyone please help!!!!

what type of k-1  from 1065, s-corp, trust or estate?

upload from where. not every provider partners with Turbotax and thus import from them is not possible.

for those that partner direct import like for a 1099-B is not possible. you must download a file to your computer.

it will be something like XXXXX.txf. you can not import any other file format like a .pdf

then you use file import from accounting software and select the .txf option.

select continue

then you either browse for the file or use the assist me option

once import is dome you must check for errors and accuracy. some boxes need more info

note. i  found that the file always has the name Turbotax.txf. if you already have a k-1 in your return the txf file must be in the name of the partnership on the k-1 otherwise the import will go t to a new k-1
