This worked for me also. I bought my copy from Amazon.com and was trying to install on a new computer. I had installed the program, but couldn't get past the blank, white activation window. I searched the forum and found your suggested fix about adjusting the screen resolution. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program thinking I probably should start from scratch again. Then started the program. It went through the update process and after that, I started Turbotax. It gave me a clear white activation screen again, so I tried the lowest screen resolution and could see the activation box, but couldn't see all the buttons in that box on the screen. I went back and used the next higher resolution and it showed everything. Then I was able to activate Turbotax. I reset the screen resolution as you suggested, and completed the registration process.
