It says I need to update the dates I lived in the state, but I lived here the whole year and it won't allow me to change the "to" date that shows up as 2024

How can I change the "to" date for sales tax

Revisit the personal Info section to make sure you didn't accidently select that you lived in another state. 

1. Open you return
2. Select My Personal Info and click Review/Edit
3. Continue until you see the screen Let's check for some other situations
4. Make sure the box next to I lived in another state in 2023 is not checked. 

To revisit the Sales Tax section:

1. Select Federal from the left menu
2. Go to Deductions and Credits.
3. Scroll down to Sales Tax 
4. On the screen Let's Compare Your Sales Tax and Income Tax, select Try Sales Tax Deduction anyway.
5. Select Easy guide 
6. On the screen Places You Lived, select Edit
7. On the following screen, edit the dates.
