Issue with Incomplete Address Display on T1 PDF

I am preparing my 2025 tax return using TurboTax and have selected that I was not a resident of Canada as of December 31, 2025. So I have entered my country mailing address correctly in the Personal Information section.

However, when I download the generated T1 PDF, parts of my address are missing or not correct.

- One digit of my postal code is omitted

- My province/state name does not appear-

- Some portions of the address are partially cut off

I have reviewed my input multiple times and confirmed that the address is entered correctly in the system. It appears that the issue occurs during PDF generation.

Since I plan to submit my return by mail, I need to ensure that my address is displayed correctly on the official T1 form.

Issue with Incomplete Address Display on T1 PDF

Try the following troubleshooting steps:

Use abbreviations (for example, "St" instead of "Street," and "Apt" instead of "Apartment").

If there is a "Address Line 2," move part of your street address there to make room for the city/country.

Some international postal codes exceed the 6-character limit for the Canadian box. If a digit is missing, try removing all spaces to see if the PDF generator detects the extra digit.

If none of that works, because you are mailing the return, you can correct your address on it. Because this is a paper return, the CRA's scanning systems and agents are used to seeing manual corrections to forms.
