Is there a way to go back and change your answer pertaining to the Affordable Care Act on the marketplace insurance? I need to change my answer?

Is there a way to go back and change your answer pertaining to the Affordable Care Act on the marketplace insurance? I need to change my answer?

Yes, provided you haven't already filed your tax return.

I expect this is an issue with the 1095-A.

 

To enter, edit or delete your Form 1095-A -

  • Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
  • Click on Deductions and Credits
  • Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
  • Scroll down to Medical
  • On Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A), click the start or update button
  • If a 1095-A is showing, delete it.

Repeat the same process and answer NO to the question "Did You get a 1095-A.
