I received some payments for sharing a ride with a coworker. This was coordinated through Google Waze App. Payment was for sharing the fuel expenses/maintenance expenses etc. Is this taxable to me ?

Payments of this nature are not taxable - they were reimbursements for the costs you incurred in providing transportation.
