Is it possible to start over and refile my taxes?

When using the online version, if you have already registered or paid your TurboTax fees, it is not possible to start over. Otherwise, on the left select TOOLS then the "clear and start over" option. That option is not available if you have registered or paid your online TTX fees.

Note also that if you have already e-filed return and it was accepted by the IRS, then you flat out can not "re" file it. You're done for the tax year. If you have to make a change, then you'll have to file an amended tax return.

An amended tax return can not be e-filed. The IRS says so. You have to print, sign and mail the amended return to the IRS. An amended return can take up to 16 weeks or longer for the IRS to process, since they have to be processed by hand.
