IRS rejected my return

My electronic return, filed via Turbotax because "IND-031-04 - The primary taxpayer's AGI or Self-select PIN from last year does not match IRS records."

The AGI on my return DOES MATCH what the IRS has on record. So it must be something about the self-select PIN.

I'm not sure what the "self-select PIN" is all about.  I did change my password for ID.me on April 16. Could this be the issue? If so, where to I show the change to the IRS?

Try using a Zero for your 2020 AGI.  Allot of 2020 returns were processed late by the IRS because of being backlogged.  This has caused allot of returns to be rejected for the actual 2020 AGI.  Entering a Zero for the 2020 AGI has gotten allot of user to be accepted.
