Don't waste your time trying to find out how to enter your IP PIN when you are getting ready to file electronically. TurboTax doesn't give you an opportunity to enter it. You have to file your taxes, get rejected, THEN you can enter it. This is clearly a product quality issue. If you scroll through the responses, you will find that this is not a new problem. TurboTax has not yet chosen to fix a problem that has existed for at least several years.

Turbo Tax has begun using your prior year AGI for the return instead of the pin. This is why it is not asked for the pin when you file the return, unless there is an issue.
Well, that's not helpful because the IRS REQUIRES an IP PIN if they have issued one. It doesn't matter if everything else about the return is in perfect order. It gets automatically kicked back to the taxpayer of the IP PIN is not present. I would have expected TurboTax to know that.
