Indiana State identification number

I am a full time Michigan resident (so need to file IN PNR). I sold a inherited piece of property in IN last year (long term). I entered the information on the capital asset sales worksheet.  The information also transfers to the captial gain (loss) adjustments worksheet. Both sheets are are asking for the state identification number (something besides IN).  What is the state id number turbotax is asking for?

You probably won't have one.  Usually the Indiana state ID number is associated with documents (like a 1099-B) associated with brokers or exchanges that withhold Indiana state tax.  You won't have that for your sale.  Leave it blank.  If you receive a diagnostic, enter 13 "0's", which is the length of the Indiana ID number.
