Incarcerated inmate

Form 1099-NEC reports self-employment income, so TurboTax will put that income on Schedule C automatically when it is entered.  

 

How do I report my self-employment income (1099-nec)?  
Does a 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC mean I'm self-employed?
