In 2022 I somehow completed my taxes as "married filling jointly" when in fact I have been divorced since 2017, How do I go back to select "head of household"?

I am submitting my 2022 taxes to my childs university for scholarship applications, is why I need to fix this mistake on my 2022 taxes.

If you used TurboTax Online, log in to the account that you used to file your original tax return.

On the Tax Home screen, scroll down to Your tax returns & documents and select the year that you want to amend.

When you reach Here’s the info for your amended return, select Start next to the info you need to change.

To change your filing status, you will want to click on My Info down the left side of the screen.  Then click Edit to the right of your filing status.

Then follow the instructions to complete the amended tax return.

If you used the CD/download product, sign back into your return that you used to file your original tax return.  Select Amend a filed return

To change your filing status, click on Personal Info across the top of the screen.  At the screen Your Personal Info Summary, click Edit to the right of Your filing status.  Then follow the instructions to complete the amended tax return.
