Importing from Classic Quicken Premier 2024 (Windows 11 desktop) into TurboTax desktop consistently fails. Yes, I can create a txf file. Is that the only way to import?

If a .txf import is the only way to import from Classic Quicken, why is direct import an option? I think I had this problem last year, and I finally just created a txf file which did import, but it is an extra step.
