If you are married, and you live with your spouse, you can file Married Filing Separately, but not Single.
If you are not married, please go back into the "My Info" section (just above Federal on the left side" and re-answer the interview questions).
There is an exception to being married and filing single as stated below:
According to the IRS:
"Unmarried persons. You are considered unmarried for the whole year if, on the last day of your tax year, you are either:
•Unmarried, or
•Legally separated from your spouse under a divorce or separate maintenance decree.
State law governs whether you are married or legally separated under a divorce or separate maintenance decree."
