If I use EAD, am I a resident?

I was attending school with F1 status in 2023. Then, starting from September of last year, I began working with the work permit I obtained through the green card. This continued until December. I received the green card in February 24. As I prepare to file my tax report, I understand that it should be classified as NR based on my student visa. However, I'm concerned because I didn't utilize OPT/CPT, but instead, I worked under the work permit obtained through the green card. Hence, I'm unsure if NR is the correct classification.

Yes, you will still file a 1040 NR return for 2023 and then file as a resident in 2024. Turbo Tax does not prepare 1040 NR returns but our affiliate at Sprint Tax prepares these returns.
