If I submit electronically with bank info to pay tax due but it is rejected and I file by paper with a check instead, will the IRS cash the check and debit my account

Why the return was rejected is not important; I cannot correct the error. Assume the IRS will accept the paper return.

The efile was rejected, all info in the filing was rejected.
