If I request a Federal extension will I also get an extension for North Carolina?

Working on loses from Hurricane Florence and getting cleaned up.  We had 65 inches of flood water in our first story and lost everything.   Currently, Turbo Tax shows a Federal refund but NC owing $144.

No to get the North Carolina automatic 6-month extension (to October 15, 2020) of time to file your North Carolina tax return you must fill out and mail Form D-410. North Carolina does not accept federal extensions.  This  link Individual Income Tax Forms & Instructions  is to the NC Department of Revenue and has information you may find useful.
